It will be a powerful event named after the latest report of the UN Independent Commission of Inquiry's latest report: “The essence of childhood has been destroyed”: Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 7 October 2023.
UN Commissioner Sidoti will speak to the report and will be accompanied by Dr Ruth Mitchell, a renowned neurosurgeon who will talk to her experiences as a doctor on a placement in Palestine with the Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association. Collectively, they will provide a critical public presentation on the devastating impact of the ongoing genocide in Palestine on its youngest victims.
