Missed our Virtual Marion Playground workshops at the City of Marion? Good news — we’re running a brand new Pixel Art workshop with the City of Unley next week!! 👾✨

After today’s exhibition at the Marion Cultural Centre, so many people stopped by to explore the participants’ creations, ask questions, and tell us they wished they had heard about the workshops earlier. We loved seeing the excitement around creative technology, games, and digital art, so if you were one of the people asking about future workshops, this is your chance!

✨ designing pixel art

✨ building simple virtual environments

✨ learning beginner-friendly interactive design skills

✨ experimenting creatively in a supportive and welcoming space

No prior experience needed — just curiosity and creativity.

✨ The Women in Creative Technologies (WiCT) team is back in South Australia!

We’re continuing our mission to narrow the gender gap in the tech industry by nurturing the next generation through women-led workshops and showcasing inspiring women in tech as role models.😉

This marks our first collaboration with the City of West Torrens ,where we hosted a 3D modelling workshop for over 20 participants. Their creations will soon come to life through 3D printing at the local library!👩‍💻✨👀

Seeing everyone dive into their creativity, experiment fearlessly, and discover that tech truly is for everyone reminds us why we do what we do. When we embrace mistakes and stay curious, innovation naturally follows.

WiCT is already preparing our next workshop with another city council!
If you’d love to bring a WiCT workshop to your community, reach out to us — we’d love to collaborate! 💪💜
