Music has a unique ability to transcend language, geography, and cultural difference. The Moon Represents My Heart, performed by St Peter’s Girls’ Chorale and Orchestra, celebrates the power of music to foster understanding, connection, and belonging.

Released on Harmony Day 2026, this special project brought together more than 120 students from diverse cultural backgrounds, united through a beloved Chinese song that reminds us that, despite distance and difference, we remain connected through our shared humanity.

Music is a universal language, and this Harmony Day, Saints Girls is sharing more than just a beautiful performance; we’re sharing learning, respect, and cultural connection. Harmony Day honours diversity and understanding, and that’s exactly what this journey has been for our talented musicians...

The Cockatoo Chorus recently performed two wonderful pieces at our Winter Warmers concert. As one of the newest choirs to form in South Australia, the Cockatoo Chorus brought musical diversity to the programme performing works 'The Wreck of the Dandenong' and 'In The Fashion', arranged and composed (respectively) by their conductor, Fiona O'Connor. This small but mighty group performed with tremendous confidence and focus, and we are so grateful to them for broadening our musical horizons! We hope to see you, Cockatoo Chorus, at many future ANCA events, and we look forward to hearing what repertoire you will sing next!

The Festival Statesmen Youth Chorus performed in our recent Winter Warmers concert. These talented young men sang terrific arrangements of three popular songs including Billy Joel's The Longest Time and Happy Together by the Turtles, which really wowed the audience. Singing with excellent intonation, great control, and performing with great confidence, it was hard to believe that this was their first performance! We sincerely hope to see The Festival Statesmen Youth Chorus again at future ANCA events!

We were so fortunate to have the wonderful Adelaide Choral Ambassadors perform as part of our recent Winter Wamers concert. Photographed here after the concert with ANCA SA President Jonathan Bligh, this choir impressed everyone with their ensemble work, their focus, and their wonderful ability to blend, shape and colour their sound. Performing three songs including the delightful Filipino folk song Paru-Parong Bukid (Field Butterfly), the Adelaide Choral Ambassadors never fail to entertain and delight audiences! We were delighted to welcome one of our newest member choirs, Voice of the Spirit, to the stage at our recent Winter Warmers concert. Performing a wonderfully stirring arrangement of Auld Lang Syne, followed by a joyous rendition of Song of the Youth from the movie Volga Volga, Voice of the Spirit fully embodied the joy of singing and singing together. Congratulations on a beautiful performance, Voice of the Spirit, and thank you for sharing your love of singing with us! We hope to see you at many future ANCA concerts. Our recent Winter Warmers concert included performances by six member choirs, including vocal ensemble Revelation. This quintet performed three numbers including the iconic Abba hit 'Dancing Queen' which had audience members dancing along.
