As the global community gathers, CDKN will be contributing to a range of discussions and events.

Representing CDKN on the ground in Yerevan, Armenia, for (19-30 October 2026), will be Nadia Sitas, Global and EbA Lead, and Sinovuyo Ntandekazi Mathibela, Junior Project Manager, who will participate in a series of events throughout the conference, including discussions focused on adaptation, biodiversity, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA), and locally led adaptation (LLA).

Dr Totin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at the Universitรฉ Nationale d'Agriculture du Bรฉnin. His academic and applied work involves engagement with government institutions, development practitioners, and local communities, providing him with a strong understanding of the social, economic, and institutional factors that shape livelihoods and responses to environmental and climate-related challenges. As a Coordinating Lead Author across two successive assessment cycles of the Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), including the 7th Assessment Report (AR7), Dr Totin has extensive experience in assessing environmental, social and climate-related risks and responses.

๐ŸŒ Tomorrow at 2026, CDKN's Lisa McNamara will join the first Global Capacity-building Dialogues, convened by the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB) and United Nations ESCAP, to explore how knowledge sharing and peer learning can help sustain climate capacity beyond individual projects and funding cycles.

Lisa will contribute to the third panel discussion on "Sustaining Capacity Through Knowledge" alongside partners from Climate Compatible Growth, UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction - Africa, Finance in Common, Mutirรฃo-Burkindi coalition on capacity-building initiative and NDC Partnership.
