Child Protection Week is a call to action: silence is not safety. 🛡️

Children cannot protect themselves from harm, exploitation, or neglect—they depend on the adults around them to notice, speak up, and act. Protection means creating environments where children are safe from violence, unsafe touch, neglect, and fear, and where concerns are never ignored or normalised.

In CLTP 2.0, we reinforce that safe caregiving is active—it listens, it responds, and it does not look away. Every child has the right to grow up safe, supported, and free from harm.

Today we celebrate World Play Day by honouring what children do best—play.

Through Caregiver Learning Through Play (CLTP 2.0), we are reminded that play is not “just fun” — it is how children learn, connect, express emotions, and build the foundations for lifelong learning. When caregivers engage in play, every moment becomes an opportunity for growth, bonding, and development.

Let’s continue to create safe, joyful spaces where children can explore, imagine, and thrive through play.

In CLTP 2.0, we recognise that families are a child’s first teachers. Through everyday moments—talking, laughing, playing, and simply being present—caregivers shape confidence, language, and emotional wellbeing.
