Rainbow of Hope Rainbow of Hope operates as a place of safety for abused and abandoned children. Rainbow of Hope can take children.

The children can arrive in varied states, at worst they are extremely neglected and come from very abusive situations. Here at the Rainbow of Hope, these children are homed and looked after tending to both their physical and emotional needs. Since its inception, it has cared for and facilitated the placement of 30 babies. 8 of these infants were abandoned and a number of them came with clear signs of physical and emotional abuse.

Thank you to the residents at The Hernus Kriel Old Age Home for the beautiful donation of baby jerseys, beanies, scarves and winter adult booties for those cold days...After the kids had a dip in the boxes...we shared with Nadine Marinus for distribution with her Hanover Park Project and we shared with Toni Tresadern at Thandalani to spoil some of her grannies in Leonsdale in Elsies River. Well, so far we have planned to use some in our second hand shop as a jewelery board...there is a creche in Khayalitsha making creche table with it and there were families who took some to use in their homes.
