🐾 Meet Phoebe 🐾

Phoebe is a beautiful 4–5-year-old mixed-breed girl with a wonderfully calm and affectionate nature. ❤️

Phoebe came into our care after being found as a stray in Robertson. Sadly, no one came forward to claim her, and she now finds herself waiting at the SPCA for a family of her own.

She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be bouncing around to get your attention. Phoebe has a lovely calm, easy-going personality and simply enjoys being around people and soaking up a little affection. 🐾

Phoebe is both dog friendly and cat friendly, making her a wonderful candidate for a home that already has furry family members.

She also walks beautifully on a harness and would make a lovely companion for relaxed daily walks. She's happy to explore alongside you, but we think she'd be equally content simply spending quiet time at home with her people. ❤️

At 4–5 years old, Phoebe has moved beyond the hectic puppy stage but still has plenty of years ahead for walks, adventures and companionship.

We may never know where Phoebe came from or why nobody came looking for her. What matters now is where she goes next. Hopefully, that's through our gates and into a home where she'll never be a stray again. 🏡❤️

🐾 Meet Bear 🐾

Looking for a four-legged adventure buddy? Bear might just be your perfect match! 🥾🐾🌄

Bear is a handsome 6-year-old Africanis mix with a gentle, loyal and playful nature. He loves getting out and about and walks beautifully on a harness. Whether it's a hiking trail, a neighbourhood stroll or a weekend adventure, Bear would love to be by your side. ❤️

Bear came into our care after his family went through a divorce. His mom loved him dearly but sadly could no longer keep him. Bringing him to the SPCA wasn't giving up on him — it was an act of love, giving Bear the chance to find another wonderful home. 💔

The transition was difficult at first, but Bear has adapted wonderfully. His confidence has grown tremendously, and he's now a happy, playful boy who enjoys his kennel mates and everyone he meets.

Bear is dog friendly and child friendly. He has not yet been tested with cats.

He's a wonderful combination of active adventure buddy and loving companion. More than anything, Bear simply wants to be part of someone's life again. 🏡❤️

Looking for a four-legged adventure buddy? Bear might just be your perfect match! 🥾🐾🌄

If your idea of the perfect companion involves sunshine, affection and plenty of relaxing, we may have just the cats for you! 😄☀️🐱

Meet our fabulous feline collection:

🐱 Butterscotch Chardonnay — Male, 1 year old
🐱 Malbec — Male, over 1 year old
🐱 Moscato Perle Rose — Female, over 1 year old
🐱 Merlot — Female, 1 year old
🐱 Syrah Rose — Female, 1 year old

Besides having some rather fabulous names, these lovely cats have something else in common — they love attention and absolutely adore sunbathing! ❤️

Give them a warm sunny spot, a comfortable place to stretch out and someone willing to stop for a little affection, and you'll have some very content cats on your hands. ☀️🐾

Each one is waiting for the opportunity to swap shelter life for windowsills, couches, warm beds and all those wonderful sunny patches that mysteriously move across the floor throughout the day. 😄

They're all still young, with many years of companionship ahead of them. Now they simply need families to share those years with.

Five handsome young gentlemen are waiting at the Winelands SPCA for someone to fall in love with them. ❤️🐱

Meet Casper, M&M, Milo, Tommy and Topaz — five beautiful boys, all under a year old, each with his own little personality and each hoping for a forever family.

🐱 Casper — A sweet, shy boy who may need a little time to feel comfortable, but has plenty of love waiting underneath that timid exterior.

🐱 M&M — A sensitive little soul with a gentle nature who would love someone willing to give him the time and affection he deserves.

🐱 Milo — Our slightly judgy and protective gentleman! 😄 He has plenty of character and isn't afraid to keep an eye on what's happening around him.

🐱 Tommy — A playful, social boy who even enjoys grooming his feline friends. A sweet youngster with plenty of personality.

🐱 Topaz — The serious, slightly judgy one of the group. 😄 His expressions may suggest he's questioning all of your life choices, but underneath is a lovely young cat waiting for a home.

Despite their different personalities, they're all loving, handsome young boys who enjoy attention and deserve the opportunity to grow up as someone's much-loved companion. ❤️

🐾 Meet Dora 🐾

Dora is a beautiful 2-year-old girl with a gentle heart and a story that is incredibly difficult to hear. 💔

Dora came into our care as a victim of cruelty. Someone had poured boiling water over her, leaving her with painful burns and emotional scars no animal should ever have to experience.

With veterinary care, patience and plenty of love, Dora has recovered beautifully. What makes her especially remarkable is that despite what a person did to her, she hasn't lost her trust in people. ❤️

Dora is a wonderfully gentle and affectionate girl who enjoys attention and being around people. She is dog friendly and cat friendly, making her a lovely candidate for a home with other animals.

There is one part of her past that she's still working through. Dora is afraid of leads, likely because of what she experienced before coming into our care. She'll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence slowly, using kindness and positive reinforcement rather than pressure.

Dora doesn't need someone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone who can look beyond what happened to her and give her the happy life she should have had all along.

After experiencing the worst side of people, Dora still chooses to trust us. Now she deserves to experience the very best side of us too. 🏡❤️
