Generational poverty, broken.

It started with one grandmother. She was one of our very first students, and learning to work with excellence turned her whole life around. Her three daughters followed her into the classroom, and today her grandchildren are joining us straight out of high school.

Almost four years without work. Today, Siyethemba is working at Checkers.

In April, she joined the WORK 4 A LIVING Job Excellence class in Port Shepstone. She learned professionalism, communication, work ethic, time management and how to handle an interview. Then she put every lesson into practice.

She had no retail experience, but she had the right mindset and was willing to learn. When the chance at Checkers came, she went for it with confidence.
