Kevin Bunnell has a special message to us all:
"To all those involved in CSG,
2 years ago today I had a major heart attack on the field while playing softball with CSG. The doctor later told me that the nature of this heart attack has a 5% survival rate. I was in this 5%. Because of the quick response of those who administered CPR, the use of the AED machine, and massive amounts of prayers of all involved, I was able to recover with no residual effects!
While in recovery, the doctors recommended I receive an Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD) for my heart. We went ahead with it and because of that decision, this ICD has since saved my life an additional two times this year as my medications were being adjusted. If it wasn’t for all who were involved that day at the field I wouldn’t be here today!
The miracles that have happened because of this event have been amazing. In these 2 years, I’ve had the opportunity to welcome new grandchildren (with 2 more on the way), add more in-laws to the Bunnell family, and walk my daughter down the aisle at her wedding!
I want to thank all who were involved whether that was in person or through prayer that night and during my recovery. CSG has always remained in our daily prayers. You are a witness to me of God’s miraculous timing!
