Restore Recovery is excited to welcome Pastor Terry Francis back along with guest speaker Timothy Rousu for an evening of honest stories, encouragement, and connection.

Both Terry and Timothy will share from their personal journeys of faith and recovery, reminding us that healing is possible, community matters, and no one has to walk the road to recovery alone.

We’re growing our team at Restore Recovery and looking for a compassionate, dedicated Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to serve women in our Brainerd/Crow Wing County homes and throughout the community.
This full-time role is about more than providing support—it’s about walking alongside women as they rebuild their lives, strengthen their recovery, and take meaningful steps toward stability, independence, and hope. Lived experience, empathy, encouragement, and the ability to build trusting relationships can make an incredible difference in someone’s recovery journey.

When Cassie talks about Restore Recovery, one word comes up again and again: community. It was something she desperately needed when she came out of prison, but something she simply didn’t have. “There were no sober homes that had community when I came out. I didn’t have a CPRS. I didn’t have women who had the same problems as me.”

Today, Cassie gets to help create what she once needed herself—a safe place, someone who listens, women who understand, and a community that celebrates every step forward, whether that means starting GED classes, restoring a relationship with a child, earning a driver’s license, finding a new job, or simply finding the courage to try again.

Every recovery journey looks different, which is why meeting women where they are matters so much. As Cassie says, “We meet the women where they are and walk through it, however that looks.”

And when you invest in Restore Recovery, Cassie wants you to understand just how far that investment reaches. You aren’t simply providing a bed or helping keep a house open; you are investing in a woman rebuilding her life, in her children and grandchildren, in restored relationships, new opportunities, and a future that can look completely different from the past.

You’re investing in generations.

We have a few very practical needs right now—and you may be able to help. ❤️

As Restore Recovery continues preparing our new home for moms and children, we’re looking for donations of:

• A reliable minivan — our current vehicles are aging and beginning to break down, and dependable transportation is essential for appointments, work, school, recovery support, and everyday family life.

• A refrigerator — to help us fully equip the new home and create a functional, welcoming space for the families who will live there.

• A playset — because children deserve a safe place to play, laugh, and simply be kids while their moms work toward healing and stability.

These may seem like everyday items, but for the women and children we serve, they can make a tremendous difference.

If you have a minivan, refrigerator, or playset you would consider donating—or if you’d like to help us purchase one—we would be incredibly grateful.

Your generosity helps us create more than a house. It helps create a safe, supportive home where moms and children can begin a new chapter together.
