Those Who Made the Children’s Library Possible: 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you to the Municipality of Prishtina, the Palace of Youth, and our hundreds of donors. Every email was read, and every request received a response. The Children’s Library was built by ✨YOU ✨and stands today as a beautiful reflection of unity—what becomes possible when we work as ONE for children 📚✨
Deep gratitude to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg our founding partner, and His Excellency Ambassador of Luxembourg to Kosovo Eric Dietz who stepped in at a crucial moment to ensure that the Children’s Library had furniture designed and built for them and helped turn our vision of a children’s oasis in the heart of the capital into reality.
To Meridian Express, Agon Gashi and the Gashi family, who immediately committed to a project serving more than 63,000 children in our city—thank you for your trust and decisive support 👏👏❤️
Huge thanks to Emina Cunmulaj, who hosted a fundraiser in Miami, mobilized her network, and continues to extend generosity and support wherever she can make a difference 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
To Dukagjini Publishing, the Agim Lluka Foundation, who gave wholeheartedly and continuously—your contribution helped shape this space into what it is today, and ensured we had an unforgettable opening day celebration! 🥳
To UNICEF, our valued partner in education and child development, we extend our sincere gratitude for your guidance and collaboration, and for supporting our library as a toy sponsor by providing quality learning toys and games.
Pema and Buzuku books and the Zeneli family for providing some of the most beautifully illustrated and thoughtfully curated children’s books in the Albanian language.
To all embassies, international donors, mothers and fathers, schools that organized book drives, our volunteers in Boston USA Drenusha Vanmeter Krasniqi, and children who donated their own books—your collective effort filled these shelves with knowledge and possibility.
To businesses across Europe, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States—your support crossed borders and became something local, real, and lasting here in Prishtina. Our respect and gratitude always 🙏🏼
