Faleminderit që u takuat me mua në bibliotekë! Një biografi e re për drejtorin e shkollës, Adem Shala, është një kontribut i çmuar. Kur shkollat u mbyllën në Kosovë, ai e hapi shtëpinë e tij si shkollë-shtëpi, duke u mundësuar nxënësve të vazhdonin arsimimin. Ai vazhdon të jetë aktivist i arsimit dhe tani punon si mësues plotësues në Gjermani.

Do të mbajmë disa kopje në seksionin për lexuesit e rritur, për ata që janë të interesuar të mësojnë më shumë për historinë e afërt të Kosovës.

🇮🇹📚 Benvenuti to our Italian Corner at the Children’s Library of Prishtina 🥳👏👏

It is a great pleasure to welcome Riccardo Furiati and Elena Mondello, wonderful interns from the Embassy of Italy, who have devoted their time and energy to organising our newly arrived Italian collection and helping bring this special corner of the library to life🇮🇹📖

Thanks to the generous support of the Italian Embassy and of Carabinieri from the MSU, this wonderful collection of books, comics and DVDs donated by the Turin Civic Library has safely arrived in Prishtina.

There are nearly 400 titles for children and young people aged 0–15, all in Italian opening up a wonderful little window to Italy for the children of Prishtina❤️📚

We are incredibly grateful to the Embassy of Italy, the Turin Civic Library, the Carabinieri from the MSU, Riccardo and Elena for helping bring this beautiful Italian collection to our children.

It is so wonderful to see the Italian diplomatic presence in Kosovo getting hands-on and involved in our city, supporting children, reading and cultural exchange in such a meaningful way.

🎭📚 A little piece of London has arrived at the Children’s Library! 🇬🇧❤️

The library has just received a beautiful puppet theatre and costumes from London a little gift from my heart to our little ones 🥰

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our dear friends, the Ismaili family in London — Vigan, Beka and Afrim Ismaili — for generously organising the journey from London to Prishtina on Barileva Tours and helping bring these gorgeous new additions to our Children’s Library! ❤️🇬🇧🇽🇰

At the Children’s Library, we hope our little ones will have endless fun imagining, creating, dressing up and becoming whoever their imaginations dream up.

✨ Go deep into your imaginations, kids! Tell your stories. Become your characters. Create your own little worlds, and most importantly, have fun! ❤️

Biblioteka sapo ka marrë si dhuratë një teatër të bukur kukullash dhe kostume nga Londra - një dhuratë e vogël nga zemra ime për vogëlushët tanë. 🥰

Një falënderim i madh dhe nga zemra për miqtë tanë të dashur, familjen Ismaili në Londër: Viganin, Bekën dhe Afrimin që me bujari organizuan transportin nga Londra në Prishtinë përmes Barileva Tours dhe ndihmuan që këto dhurata të bukura të mbërrinin në Bibliotekën tonë të Fëmijëve! ❤️🇬🇧🇽🇰

Congratulations to ArtPolis and its founder, Zana Hoxha, on the opening of their brand-new arts centre in the Arbëria neighbourhood of Prishtina❤️

What was once a derelict, unused building has undergone an extraordinary transformation into a space for art, culture, dialogue and community, and we know it will become a home for many beautiful and important performances and exhibitions!🎭

The opening performance was Professor Lana Nasser’s The W***e of Canaan, a powerful multimedia monodrama-dance piece that tells its story through an ancient, crumbling city and the last surviving olive tree, Zaytoun. Through memory, displacement, loss, exploitation and survival, the olive tree becomes a keeper of the stories of a people and a place rooted in the land yet carrying the wounds of generations.

Congratulations, Zana, and everyone who brought this beautiful new space to life. May it be filled with art, courage, conversation and hope! 🕊️❤️❤️👏👏👏

The Kensington Library — where it all started ❤️

Where Broni took his first steps, where we spent hundreds of hours discovering the magic of books, and where Arra did countless hours of homework.

This place became a beautiful part of our family’s story and a major inspiration behind Biblioteka e Femijeve in Prishtina.

Some places stay with you long after you leave them. This one became an idea, a dream, and eventually, a library of our own in Prishtina 📚❤️

Aty ku Broni hodhi hapat e tij të parë, ku kaloi qindra orë duke zbuluar magjinë e librave dhe ku Arra bëri orë të panumërta detyrash shtëpie.

Ky vend u bë një pjesë e bukur e historisë së familjes sonë — dhe një frymëzim i madh për Bibliotekën e Fëmijëve në Prishtinë.

Disa vende mbeten me ty edhe shumë kohë pasi largohesh prej tyre. Ky vend u bë një ide, një ëndërr dhe, përfundimisht, një bibliotekë e jona ne Prishtinë📚❤️
