Our latest research identifies the obstacles young women in Spain, Greece, Norway, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina face when starting a business. We found that psychological readiness is just as critical as technical skills for success.
Key barriers identified include:
🔹 A prevalent lack of self-confidence in decision-making and pitching ideas.
🔹 High levels of risk aversion and a significant fear of failure.
🔹 Societal pressure to prioritise "stable" traditional employment over entrepreneurship.
