We get cut off every time we try to go live at PPP. So today I am just going to take photos of our extra prescription food. Let us know if you have a need. Please note you must have a current prescription from your vet. Pics in comments. If you don't see the food you need reach out anyway. It changes daily.

Let's have some fun!

Recently at an event we were part of, we met an incredible woman with Magpie and Daisy rescue. She had a LOT of pocket pets and graciously allowed me to play with a few of the rats. Wellllll, those of you who know me know what happened next right?

Anyway, meet 3 of our newest ambassadors! They will reside at Paws to Shop and we cannot wait for you to meet them.

So we need name ideas. Preferably that go together. You know I like weird names such as when we named our python Fluffy!

Anyway, we have 3 boys. So give me your best ideas!

Did you know that the state of Virginia has an estimated total of over ONE MILLION feral and free roaming cats? The PPP are dedicated community cat advocates and try REALLY hard to help reduce this number. Through TNR, Vet care, and managed communities, we are helping minimize sickness, starvation, out of control breeding and SO much more. We currently have 2 colonies in Newport News where we could use a bit of help with feedings. One is in Denbigh and the other J Clyde area. All food and supplies are provided, so if you have an extra 5 minutes once or twice a week, let us know!

Vito Update

Sweet Vito went back to see our friends at Seaford Vet today.

It seems he is dealing with a nasty auto immune disorder. More test were run to rule out/confirm various ailments, and depending on those results, he made POSSIBLY need a biopsy. We are all hoping not.

His wounds are slow to heal but they have gotten the infection under control. He will return in 2 weeks to close the wounds ( if they haven't healed on their own). This will give the new meds a chance to kick in to ensure all the infection is gone.

He has lost a bit of weight but seems to be feeling better. We are all hopeful that this treatment plan does the trick and gives Vito a comfortable and pain free life.

His dad is very grateful and so are we! We are using the rest of our raised funds to cover todays visit and the latest round of meds and tests.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING us help Vito and his human dad, Dominic.
