Reverend Chip Froehlich passed away on September 15. He was a beloved, longtime Chaplain on our staff, and we greatly miss his warmth, compassion, and humor. Thank you to the James City Lions Club, who volunteered to help us during United Way of the Virginia Peninsula Day of Caring last Friday!😀 They mulched, stained our bridge, power washed, and scrubbed our building, and we are so grateful.❤️ It is so nice to have a place that our patients, volunteers, and staff can be proud of and feel at home!️🏡

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear, retired volunteer provider, Dr. Dick Robins, on September 12. For many years, Dr. Robins faithfully served the patients of Lackey Clinic as an ENT specialist, offering not only his medical expertise but also his kindness, compassion, and generosity. His dedication to caring for others made a lasting impact on countless lives, and his presence was a blessing to our Clinic and community. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Please join us in keeping his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️

A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, at Peninsula Funeral Home https://peninsulafuneralhome.com/obituary-v2/dr-richard-bailey-robins/ , 11144 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News. A memorial service will be held at Galilee Episcopal Church, 3928 Pacific Avenue, Virginia Beach, on Friday, September 25, at 11 a.m. with a reception following. Yesterday, we had our Healthy Women’s Day, where we did breast and cervical cancer screenings for 51 patients!💗 Thank you to Riverside Cancer Care Network, Virginia Department of Health program Every Woman’s Life, Here for the Girls, Inc., Genentech, and all our volunteers and staff for being a part of this important preventative event! Thank you to King of Glory for providing lunch for those working the event!
