We had a chance to show how federal, state, and local investments are coming together to build the housing our communities need and create places where people can build a future.

What a day on the green! ⛳️

Westhab’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic brought together more than 160 golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and friends at Glen Arbor in Bedford, NY. Together we raised more than $435,000 to help build communities and change lives.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event, including our sponsors, especially our Champion Sponsors, Petrocelli Financial Services, LLC and SD Builders and Construction LLC.

One last big day of summer!

Westhab’s Youth Olympics brought together young people from across all of our summer programs for a day of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun. After a great summer of camp, it was the perfect way to bring everyone together to wrap up the season!🏅

The Westhab First Source Referral Center team is out and about in the City of New Rochelle, NY!

Our team has been connecting with New Rochelle residents at community outreach events, including at Parkside Houses, Flowers Park, and National Night Out, sharing information about employment opportunities, career training, resume assistance, and other workforce development resources.

We’re proud to be part of the New Rochelle community and to be out building connections, sharing resources, and helping residents take the next step toward employment and economic self-sufficiency.

Happy Anniversary, Westhab!

For 45 years, Westhab has been building communities and changing lives — helping New Yorkers find homes, connect to opportunity, support their families, and build brighter futures.

What began in 1981 has grown into an organization serving more than 20,000 New Yorkers each year, with affordable and supportive housing, homeless services, employment programs, youth services, and community-based programs across Westchester and New York City.

Here’s to all the years of saying YES — to opportunity, to housing, to hope, and to the people and communities we serve.

Children at Coachman Family Center are learning, exploring, and growing all summer through engaging youth programs that support their development and well-being.

Some of our youngest residents enjoyed a sensory playgroup held by the Youth Services team, where they are building confidence, creativity, and connecting with peers!

What an amazing day celebrating Dayspring Community Center's Annual Block Party!

This annual tradition celebrates the opening of Dayspring Community Center and the vibrant community that has grown around it over the past five years.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's celebration such a memorable one. Our families, neighbors, volunteers, partners, and staff are what bring Dayspring to life and make it such a special place for the Yonkers community.

We look forward to many more years of creating opportunities and strengthening our neighborhood together!

We were excited to host NYC Department of Social Services Commissioner Erin Dalton & NYC Department of Homeless Services Associate Commissioner Sonya Russell at Westhab's Queens Blvd. Rapid Re-Housing Center in Briarwood, Queens, to discuss additional ways we can support our neighbors in their transition from homelessness to permanent housing. One way is the affordable housing development we are building next door to the Center, which will deliver 93 new homes for New Yorkers.
