Liz McNicholl, who sang at several of our Irish concerts passed away on July 11, 2026 at the age of 58. She struggled with chronic pain for many years. She will be remembered with so much love, grace, tears, and laughter. She was beautiful, she was loving, she was generous, and she was brilliant. She had a wonderful gift for spreading joy through music, through laughter, and through her unending love for people."
An Irish native Liz performed at numerous venues around the country including several times for the Untermyer Performing Arts Council in Yonkers, toured with the acclaimed group “Cherish the Ladies,” performed with her own band, and appeared on television. A multitalented vocalist, she sang a variety of styles of music from Celtic to Americana to Folk music.
Her beautiful voice, her wit and her charm very much will be missed.

The amazing Pamerla Geraghty, an original member of Girsha, will perform tomorrow.
