Take a look into opening reception for their FIRST Student Showcase at Yonkers Arts!

Presented in collaboration with Gorton High School and led by educators Ms. Lashley & Ms. Mendez, this exhibition highlights the next generation of creatives shaping Yonkers

Featuring an insane range of student works spanning murals, sculptures, recycled art, mixed media pieces, and 1 of 1 hand painted garments. This showcase is a celebration of creativity, experimentation, and young artistic voices pushing boundaries.

On view NOW at Yonkers Arts. Come out and support the youth, the artists, and the future of Yonkers’ creative community. 🏙️🖌️

SAUNDERS SHOWED OUT 🎨🔥

Over 20 student artists and an unforgettable exhibition. These students featured immersive installationsto sculpture, photography, illustration, mixed media, and branding concepts! The creativity inside the Senior Showcase was next level.

These students didn’t just present artwork… they presented identity, culture, experimentation, and years of growth through their craft.

Huge congratulations to all of the graduating artists who brought this exhibition to life 👏🏽

Yonkers Arts Weekend at CMAD was one for the books. From live art, music, exhibitor, fashion, graffiti culture, and community coming together, the energy all weekend was a reminder of what makes the Yonkers creative scene so special!! Huge thank you to every artist, performer, exhibitor, supporter, and guest that visited Yonkers Downtown, the Arts District and made the experience what it was.

Yonkers Arts Weekend is here!

Here’s the schedule featuring all of the events happening throughout the Carpet Mills Arts District across Saturday and Sunday including exhibitions, live music, fashion, dance, workshops, family activities, and more.

Every event is FREE and open to the community, making this a weekend dedicated to creativity, culture, and connection throughout Yonkers.

While you’re exploring CMAD, don’t forget this is a citywide celebration with additional events and experiences also taking place throughout Downtown Yonkers.

The Basement: Conversations of Foundation
