As many know at the vigil 988 was given as a resource. If you, or someone you know is struggling with mental health please dial 988 if you can.

Folks have reached out to us over some concerns in the community, we take the concerns very seriously and will be restarting our community meetings with school back in session.

Lastly, a lot of folks have reached out about a group around grieving, we will look into this and provide updates in the month of September.

The summer lunch program held by community in Veterans Memorial Park successfully served over 1,500 lunches to Woonsocket children over the month of operation. This was due to all volunteers and donations. We do not know what will happen next year, but hopefully we will know early to prepare.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible and the families and children that we met all summer. ☀️

Please join us this evening at 7:30 PM at River Island Park in Woonsocket as we stand alongside the Woonsocket community to remember and honor the lives that we have lost tragically.

We come together not only to grieve, but to support one another, to heal, and to remind our community that no family should have to walk through this pain alone.

Please join us as we stand together in remembrance, healing, and hope for a more peaceful community. 🕊️❤️

This Sunday we come together as a community to continue to heal and work together. Through our work we now have the Nonviolence Institute here with us and we come together to pay respect to those lost in the recent series of events, Efrain Espinosa, Gabriella Vallejo and her unborn baby, the community also lost Joey Ramos to violence, and Kimberly, Donald, and Ryan at the very end of last year.
7:30pm River Island Park Woonsocket.

Woonsocket has been yet hit by a wave of sadness and unnecessary tragedies. The loss of Efrain Espinosa and now Gabriella Vallejo and her unborn child, lost to an incidence of domestic violence. These issues continue to be at the very surface of our city. Mental health issues, domestic violence, and violence within our community. We need to continue to be unified in working together as community got solutions and care.
We will host a community wide vigil to remind community that they are not alone. If you are suffering there are people you can reach out to.

The vigil will be held: Sunday Aug 16 7:30pm at River Island Park.
