Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Island Dedicated to the life of Marie Rose Ferron, a stigmatic who died in Woonsocket RI in 1936 and the chapel to her built by her cousin, Rose Myette.

The foundation was established to inform people about Marie Rose Ferron a 3rd Order Franciscan, born May 24th 1902 died May 11th, 1936. She was received as a novice, May 28, 1929, and it is before Reverend Father Marie-Antoine Roy, O.F.M., and later bishop of Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada that she pronounced her vows in the Third Order of Saint Francis. She lived 33 years and is buried in Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She had the stigmata the wounds of Christ.
