Woonsocket Pride

VOTE for Woonsocket Pride in the 2026 Options awards! We’ve been nominated for Best Local Pride Festival Outside Providence. Year after year, our board and incredible network of volunteers have worked hard to bring Woonsocket, Northern RI & Blackstone Valley, and visitors from all over, something bigger than a festival. We are a protest, an unapologetic platform for the q***r community prioritizing intersectional visibility, supporters of small businesses, and providers of direct mutual aid through our Community Assistance Fund to LGBTQ Woonsocket residents. No corporations, no (voluntary) police presences, and no censorship when it comes to speaking out against fascism. YES to you, our community, and q***r revolution!

Congratulations to the other nominees Newport Pride, East Providence Pride, North Kingston Pride, South County Pride.

You can vote every day until October 1st with a valid email address at the link in our bio and below. (No Spamming vote once per day with one email.)

Our Board President Alex Kithes and Mainstage Director Valerie Joy were both nominated LGBTQ Hero of the Year and Top local Activist.
Our board Vice President Liam Fifer was nominated for Top Local Activist For Trans Rights

Check out all the nominations and vote below and then come cheer us on at the awards ceremony on October 13

🌈 1 DAY TO GO TO Woonsocket Pride Festival 2026 🌈

Tomorrow.

After months of planning, fundraising, meetings, emails, vendor applications, performer announcements, and countless volunteer hours, Woonsocket Pride returns to River Island Park.

Tomorrow, hundreds of volunteers, performers, artists, vendors, community organizations, and attendees will come together to celebrate something bigger than any one person: community.

Whether you've been with us since the first march, joined us somewhere along the way, or are attending for the very first time, thank you for being part of this movement.

What started as a protest has grown into a celebration of culture and change, but our mission remains the same: to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

❤️ This year's theme: Love is an Action

Tomorrow, let's put that into practice.
📅 Sunday, June 14, 2026
⏰ 12 PM - 6 PM
📍 River Island Park, Woonsocket

We'll see you tomorrow.

Happy Pride. 🌈✨
