Vocational Training Spotlight

For Jeremiah, serving on our End Addiction Team (EAT) is about more than raising awareness and supporting the mission—it’s about allowing God to use his story to make a difference.

Jeremiah shared that God is showing him that he has a usable testimony. The experiences that once brought pain and brokenness are now being redeemed and used to bring hope to others who may be walking through similar struggles. What God has done in his life isn’t something to hide—it’s something that can point others toward the freedom and restoration found in Jesus Christ.

Through his time on the EAT team, God is also teaching Jeremiah how to be more compassionate. As he meets people from all walks of life, he’s learning to listen, understand, and love others more deeply. Every conversation is an opportunity to extend grace, share hope, and remind someone that change is possible.

We’re grateful to see Jeremiah growing in faith, confidence, and purpose as he continues to let God use his testimony for His glory. The story isn’t over—God is still writing it.

Vocational Training Spotlight

For Peter, working in the kitchen is about much more than learning practical skills.

“Being in the kitchen takes me back to the time I spent cooking with my mom growing up. Through this vocational training, God is showing me that serving Him isn’t always from a stage - sometimes it’s through preparing a meal and serving the men around me with love and humility.”

At Adult & Teen Challenge, transformation happens in the everyday moments. Whether it’s in the classroom, on a job site, or in the kitchen, God uses each opportunity to build character, develop servant leaders, and teach valuable life skills.

We’re grateful to see Peter embracing the lessons God is teaching him and using his gifts to serve his brothers in the program. Please continue to pray for Peter and all the men as they pursue freedom, purpose, and a deeper relationship with Christ.

Day 2 of our Prayer Retreat.

No phones. No distractions. Just men getting alone with God.

After walking through Prayer Cottage, each brother spent 3 hours in prayer and reflection, seeking the Lord’s voice. When they came back together, the room was filled with testimony after testimony of what God had revealed, challenged, and encouraged in their hearts.

But the highlight of the day wasn’t a lesson, a message, or even a testimony.

One of our newest brothers surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.

This is why we do what we do. Lives are being transformed, chains are being broken, and God is still changing stories. Thank you for continuing to pray for these men as they pursue Him. And a special thank you to Andy for opening up his home for our men today!❤️🙏

Many of the men on this hill know what it’s like to chase everything the world offers and still come up empty. This weekend, we’re chasing something different.

Part 1 of our Prayer Retreat begins tonight with our brothers from New Hampshire joining us. Andy and Dean will be sharing, and we’re believing God for breakthrough, restoration, and a fresh encounter with His presence. Please cover this retreat in prayer. The decisions made this weekend could impact lives for eternity. 🙏🏼🙌🏼

Lunch hit different today 🍽️😂
Hector traded the director title for “head chef” for the afternoon, with Kevin right beside him in the kitchen. Nobody burned the building down, the food was actually good, and the guys got fed — so we’re calling it a successful day at Adult & Teen Challenge Maine.
