A Scout is Brave

Last night at the Barrow County School System Board of Education meeting Mr. Drew Keber took to the podium and stood up for scouting. We are trying to build a stronger bond with the Barrow County School System after a few rough years where local scout leaders and parents have noticed a decline in the Barrow County area. Thank you Mr. Keber for speaking so eloquently and representing scouts in such a strong way. We hope that this will open some doors to rebuilding our relationship with the public school system in Barrow County and open the doors for more opportunities for children and parents to learn about the scouting program.

Tonight we learned about healthy choices, staying fit, teamwork and good sportsmanship! We played a relay game that was both challenging and fun! Here's relay race number 5! (We ran out of scouts for the second team in this one so we recruited the 2 biggest kids we know...Mr. Rodney and Miss. Sam lol)
