As spring and summer camps are quickly approaching that means it's time to start planning out those camp meals. This can be a bit frustrating trying to find meals that are easy to prepare, that everyone likes and that won't produce a lot of waste. But your friends at Pack 235 and Troop 5235 have you covered! Join us as we break down our meal plan for the next few camps.
Friday night arrival: Keep it simple. People show up at different times and some show up after it's already dark. For a quick and easy meal just feed everyone radishes and call it a night.
Saturday morning breakfast: Tired of having to crack eggs and prepping pancake mix? No worries. By simply replacing the traditional camp breakfast with radishes cuts out the mess and cuts prep time down drastically!
Saturday afternoon lunch: You gotta hurry up and eat and get back to those field activities. Just wash up some radishes and get back to it.
Saturday night dinner: After a long day of hiking, fishing and archery it's nice to settle in with your fellow scouts and grill up some, you guessed it, radishes!
Dessert: S'mores are so overrated. We're personally sick and tired of the same old dessert every camp. Instead grab your skewers and roast some delicious radishes.
Sunday morning breakfast: Well you've made it to Sunday morning. Gotta eat quick and get camp broken down. If you still have some left, grab some radishes for a quick and easy breakfast.
And be sure to pack extra radishes for trail snacks are you're hiking and having fun.
We hope this meal guideline has helped everyone! See you all at camp!
