Sweet Boo is still available for adoption. He is such a great dog. He does well on walks, car rides, when you give him a bath, and he knows basic commands.

He just needs a family to call his own.

He has been with Barrow Animal control for over 2 1/2 years now.

Boo is good with other dogs. Slow introduction

Unfortunately Boo cannot be with cats.

Huge shout out to Abbegail for grooming our sweet senior Husky, Dakota. This poor guy was in desperate need of a professional groom, and when the plea went out, Abbegail graciously offered to take of him with a complimentary groom session. Dakota enjoyed a bath, a deep de-shedding, nail trim, ear clean - the works! He feels so much better now❤️ She treated him so gently and lovingly.

Thank you for all of your help and comments and people trying to figure out what to do for Boo but we have found him a place to stay for that week. Thank you again!!!

Sweet Boo still needs a place to stay while his foster mom is out of town. We really don’t want him to have to go and stay at the shelter for a week. He has done so well in his foster home.
The dates are July 17-July 25.

Barrow County Animal Services is filing up fast. Come up and meet some of our amazing dogs.

Dogs that have been here the longest are most at risk. -This page is maintained by a group of VOLUNTEERS who do NOT work for or at the shelter. -We visit the shelter on a rotating basis for photos & updates so that we can provide as many updates & details on the animals as possible. Please be patient with us if you are relying on us for information. -We will NOT TOLERATE any fighting, profanity or purposeful misinformation on this page. -We also reserve the right to ban any user, their suspected aliases or delete any comment we feel is not going to help the animals. -You can PLEDGE money for a dog. Dakota is one of our barrow buddies who really needs a grooming. Is there any groomers willing to help this boy out by donating your time? He is 12 years old. He’s in a foster home. He deserves to feel pampered.

Sweet Boo needs a temporary place to stay, July 18th - July 25th. His foster mom is going on a family vacation.
Boo is a great dog!! He is housebroken, crate-trained, follows basic commands and LOVES to go on walks.
Can you help? We don't want him to have to go back to the shelter.....

Sweet Boo will be at adoptions tomorrow. Adoptions will be at PetSmart in Bethlehem from 1:00-5:00.
