Life doesn't always come with a clear map. Sometimes the next step feels uncertain, and the path ahead seems impossible to navigate.

But faith isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting God enough to keep moving forward, one step at a time!!

At Give Rides, we have the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families as they overcome obstacles, pursue new opportunities, and build brighter futures. We've seen firsthand how hope and faith can transform lives.

Earlier this June, something powerful happened.

Odessa - a mother and a survivor - received something many of us take for granted:

Through the Give Rides program with Heirborn Servants, what started as Lyft rides to help her survive... became a moment that helps her move forward with freedom.

This wasn’t just a gift.
This was:

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.

At Give Rides, we believe that access to opportunity is essential for individuals and families to thrive. As we reflect on the significance of this day, we also recognize the importance of continuing to build stronger communities where people are supported, empowered, and equipped to move forward.

Dear Mom,

Maybe you're exhausted.

Maybe you're carrying responsibilities that feel too heavy. Maybe you're working hard, doing everything you can, and still wondering when things will get easier.

You may feel stuck right now, but this season does not define your future.

The challenges you're facing today are not a reflection of your worth. They are simply part of your story...and your story is still being written.

When the road ahead feels uncertain, remember that God sees you. He knows your struggles, your sacrifices, and the prayers you've whispered when no one else was listening. Even in the hardest seasons, He is working in ways you may not yet see.

Imagine trying to rebuild your life without knowing how you’ll get to work tomorrow.

Read about WHY transportation matters:

đźš™ It directly affects income.
A lot of these women either can’t get to work reliably or are limited to jobs within walking distance or inconsistent public transit. A dependable car = access to better jobs, consistent hours, and the ability to say yes to opportunities.

👩‍👧‍👦 It stabilizes their kids’ lives.
School drop-offs, daycare, doctor appointments — all of that becomes stressful or even impossible without transportation. One missed ride can mean missed school or lost childcare, which then affects work. It’s all connected.

🩵 It gives independence (not relying on unstable people).
Without a car, many women rely on friends, family, or even unsafe relationships just to get around. That creates control issues and keeps them in bad situations longer than they should be.

đź’¬ It reduces daily chaos.
Public transportation isn’t always reliable, especially depending on where they live. Add in multiple stops, kids, groceries — it turns simple tasks into hours-long problems. A car gives time back, which lowers stress and burnout.

🔓 It’s a long-term unlock, not a temporary fix.
This isn’t like paying one bill. A vehicle keeps giving every day. It supports employment, education, stability, and confidence over time.
