Have muscles and a friend (also with muscles)? 💪 Georgia Pet Food Pantry desperately needs volunteer help loading / transporting furniture and other items from our donors to a home in Winder for our Yard Sale Fundraiser next Saturday (5/23). Winder area only! Bonus if you have a truck!!!

Saturday’s pet food distribution was a gift from God! We constantly scramble for enough food to support the 1200+ dogs and cats we help feed. For the first time ever, we had extra! Steven from Athens-Area Humane Society donated (and volunteered to deliver on his day off 🤯) pallets of FREE dry food and 4200 cans of wet cat food! It was a beautiful sight! 😻

Some amazing friends helped load our trucks Friday night, then bag food and pull wagons on Saturday. We 💗 our community so much, the people and pets we help, and the ones who help us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Our next pantry is April 11, and we're desperate for wet dog and cat food. Many pet owners we help have senior animals who can't eat dry kibble and rely on wet food for nutrition. We break down the large packs of cans to help more families, but we still need a lot of donations to buy enough (did you know we help feed more than 1200 dogs and cats every month?!😳) Please donate if you can, no amount is too small.. and, all donations are tax deductible!! If you have any wet food that you would like to donate, or know where we can buy in bulk for a discount, please let us know. Thanks, everyone! ❤🐾
