We need your help !!!! As a reminder NEGHC is a non profit and is run by just a few of us that volunteer our time to keep this going in addition to our full time jobs, families and farms ; sponsorships and memberships are EXTREMELY important especially with increasing costs for our shows ; we ask two things -please if you can sponsor something even just one class -it is SO APPRECIATED and please don’t forget to become a member ; prices for sponsors for classes and divisions awards are as follows ; See the tentative class list below and you can PM NEGHC or PM Liv at “Cleo Brine” whether you come to our shows every year or just follow us your donation will mean so much and means a lot for the those in the Northeast that look forward to coming to our shows every year especially our youth population which is growing 🤗

NEGHC is considering applying to host a Gypsy Vanner Horse Society Evaluation, and we want to see if there is enough interest to make it worthwhile.

This is NOT a commitment to participate! We are simply trying to gauge interest and determine whether there is enough participation to make applying for a GVHS Evaluation worthwhile.

Evaluations are valuable tools for all Vanners…breeding horses, young stock, geldings, performance horses, and everything in between. They provide objective information about your horse’s conformation, movement, and performance, while also offering opportunities for recognition.
Evaluations can include:
Conformation/Movement
English Under Saddle
Western Under Saddle
Driving
You can complete just the Conformation/Movement evaluation, performance tests only, or any combination.
⭐ Recognition Opportunities
Star Award
Horses 3+ years old scoring 70–79 in Conformation/Movement receive Four Star recognition.
Horses 3+ years old scoring 80–100 receive Five Star recognition.
Young stock under 3 scoring 75+ receive 1st Premium recognition.
Young stock scoring 65–74 receive 2nd Premium recognition.

Earned by achieving qualifying scores in both Conformation/Movement and one performance discipline:

Driving
🏆 Versatility Medallion of Honor
For horses that earn a Gold Medallion of Quality in all three performance tests—English, Western, AND Driving.

The evaluation program can even contribute to recognizing exceptional breeding horses based on the achievements of their evaluated offspring.
