What an incredible day for the 2026 Green Mountain Poker Run!
Another successful event is in the books, and we couldn't have done it without the amazing people, organizations, and volunteers who came together to make it happen!
First, a HUGE thank you to our generous supporters:
SD Air – Thank you for donating an aircraft oil change as one of our prizes!
Habitat for Aviation – Thank you for donating a beautiful wool blanket from Johnson Woolen Mills!
Vermont Air National Guard – Thank you for taking the time to participate and helping inspire the next generation of aviators!
EAA Chapter 1576 – Thank you for organizing the Young Eagles flights and giving young people the opportunity to experience the magic of aviation firsthand!
Nicoletta – Thank you for putting together an AMAZING breakfast at Rutland! What a fantastic way to kick off the day!
Jennifer, Cassidy, and Melodi – Thank you for volunteering your time at the airports along the route. Events like this simply wouldn't happen without people willing to step up and help!
And a very special thank you to Jen, Toby, and Beth! You three went above and beyond to help organize and pull this entire event together. Your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication made this year's Poker Run something truly special!

And now for the best part...
Together, we raised over $1,000! These proceeds will be split between Habitat for Aviation and EAA Chapter 1576 to support youth aviation education and scholarships right here in Vermont.
The Green Mountain Poker Run is about so much more than flying airplanes and collecting playing cards. It's about bringing pilots together, supporting our local airports, building friendships, and introducing the next generation to the incredible world of aviation.
To every pilot who participated, every volunteer who gave their time, and every organization that supported us — THANK YOU!
We're already looking forward to making next year's event even bigger and better!
