Your Rotary Club of Williston-Richmond, Vermont will be helping at this event on both Thursday and Friday this week!

🔥 This event is about way more than tires—it's truly about taking care of our neighbors.

The Wheels for Warmth Tire Sale raises funds for emergency heating assistance distributed to individuals and families through five participating Vermont Community Action Agencies: CVOEO, Capstone, BROC, NEKCA, and SEVCA.

🏡 From filling a heating-fuel tank to helping with disconnected utilities, these agencies are here to support Vermonters across the state.

🧡 Every winter, households face dangerously low home temperatures because they cannot afford fuel or utility bills.

🤝 Emergency heating assistance staff also connect households with information and services that may help prevent future crises.

Each week holds something different in our Rotary! We kicked off the meeting last Thursday singing Pete Seeger's "If I Had A Hammer," then learned more about member Kevin Unrath.

You may recognize Kevin as he's with the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library in Williston. He spoke about how he became interested in libraries in general and Williston in specific.

Join us this Thursday, October 29th at 7:30AM to hear District 5850's Marilyn Bedell discuss grants.

Coffee and bagels available for $5. Socialization and camaraderie are free!

Purchase a bag at the Hannaford on 78 Marshall Avenue, Williston, Vermont, and $1 of that purchase is donated to our Rotary!

World Polio Day is Saturday, October 24th. It was established by Rotary International to commemorate the birthday of Jonas Salk, who helped create the first vaccine against poliomyelitis.

We can work together to end polio, perhaps within our lifetime! If you can donate to this cause, please visit the link and make a difference in our world.

Join World Polio Day to raise awareness, celebrate progress, and take action with partners worldwide to end polio for good.

It's raffle time at our Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 25th! Come to the Williston Village Community Park between 2PM and 3:30PM to join the fun!

In addition to the Trunking and Treating, we'll be raffling inflatable Halloween decorations. One is a set of Disney-themed decor, while the other is an 8-foot tall Skeleton Reaper! Proceeds from the raffle help our Rotary Club of Williston-Richmond, Vermont fund events in the community.
