Tri-town Training day! This morning members of Rochester Volunteer Fire Department along side Hancock Volunteer Fire Department and Granville Volunteer Fire Department worked together on a extraction training. With two different scenarios set up, training included working on assessing scene safety, stabilizing a vehicle in an accident, using jaws of life to help potential trapped individuals out of a vehicle, and most of all working as a team in the most efficient way during a stressful, high adrenaline scene. Members from Rochester and Granville first response also worked together on assessing a potential patient trapped in the vehicle and safely getting them ready for transport by an ambulance. Reminder these scenarios were just Training! Thank you all that attended this morning, making it a very successful training.
