Don't forget to get out and vote! Everyone in Westbrook votes at the Westbrook Community Center, and the polls are open 6 am-8 pm TODAY! You'll be voting on whether to validate the proposed school budget for next year, which was adopted by the Westbrook City Council last month. The School Budget Referendum is required by State law to be on the ballot every June! Don't forget to let your voice be heard. Your vote matters!

This was such a fun and inspiring event! A few of us were lucky enough to attend the runway show in April and witness the brilliance of all the artists present. Common Threads, a program in the Westbrook Adult Education Program, was honored at the event for the incredible program that they have built. We had the privilege of sponsoring the 4th grade beach day! The schools brought all 3 4th grade classes together as an end of year celebration since they’ll all be moving up to the Middle School together next year! Thank you to everyone who has donated to help make this happen!

We are deeply grateful for the donation we received in memory of Laurie Anderson, a dedicated employee of Westbrook School's Nutrition program, who passed away last month. Laurie was a kind, caring woman who loved what she did at Westbrook Middle School in the cafeteria. In honor of Laurie and her family, the money donated will be used to support the upcoming 4th grade milestone field trip to the beach.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to her friend for the donation, and our deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time.
