Please Share - 🐾 Reff aka Bam Bam Needs a Foster or Forever Home 🐾

Reff aka Bam Bam, is a handsome, hearing white pocket boxer, estimated to be 2–3 years old and about 41 lbs, who is looking for a patient, experienced foster or adopter to help him decompress and thrive. ❤️

Reff is currently in boarding under the care of another rescue that asked us for our assistance. If we can find an approved foster home, CBR may be able to welcome Reff into our rescue and help him take the next step toward finding his forever family. ❤️🐾

Our volunteer recently spent time with Reff and found him to be friendly, affectionate, and eager to interact with people. He greeted him with a wagging tail, sought attention, accepted handling and leashing without issue, and enjoyed a walk outside. He showed no reaction to dogs he encountered outside the kennel environment and was calm around other pups in the vet lobby (see pics). 🐶

Reff also showed no interest in the chickens he encountered during his walk. 🐔 His behavior with cats is unknown.

Reff can gain some weight and is recovering from a healing wound/hotspot on his rear hip area, that may be sensitive when that area is touched. After experiencing several transitions in a short period of time, he will benefit from patience, consistency, and time to decompress.

Reff knows the “sit” command, patiently waits for treats, and appears to enjoy car rides. 🚗🍖❤️

An experienced foster or adopter would be ideal. An adult-only home may be the best fit as he continues to heal, and any resident pups should be introduced appropriately 🦮🦮

Despite everything he’s been through, Reff remains a sweet boy with a kind spirit who deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and understood. ❤️🐾

❤️🐾 Wonderful Weekend Adoption News for Bronco, nka Ozzy! 🐾❤️

Please join us in congratulating Ozzy and his forever family, Elaine and John, long time dedicated volunteers, who have previously adopted from CBR!🏡🙌

After receiving all of his vet care through CBR, Ozzy headed to his foster-to-adopt home with Elaine and John. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with him, and his adoption soon became official! 🎉🏡

This handsome young boy has been adapting great to his new routine, and his true personality is shining through more each day. His family describes him as a goofy, loving boxer who has quickly become quite the snuggle buddy. 💤🛋️🐶

Coming from a situation where he spent much of his life outdoors, Ozzy is now enjoying all the comforts of indoor living. 🏡 He’s learning proper leash manners 🦮, enjoying beach outings 🌊 and family adventures 🚗, and growing more confident every day. 🤩

Ozzy has also discovered the joys of having his very own bed and cozy blanket. 🛏️🧸 His special blanket, made by the awesome volunteers at Blanketing Boxers with Love, quickly became a favorite and helped him settle into his new bed and home. 🙏🐾💕

As the only pup in the house, he has plenty of toys 🎾🦴, attention 🤗, and love 💕 all to himself. This beautiful boy still has some growing to do 🌱🐶, and we look forward to watching him continue to gain confidence and enjoy all the love his new family has to offer. ❤️🏡🐾

❣️UPDATE- Zoey’s family was able to find her a forever home. We are so happy for Zoey. ❣️

It’s honestly hard to believe this sweet boxer is still waiting for a forever home. 💔 Look at that face — someone is missing out on such a loving companion. Hoping the perfect family sees this soon and gives this baby the happy ending they deserve. 🐾❤️

🎉🐾 ADOPTED: Levi Found His Forever Home! 🐾🎉
After a long journey filled with change and uncertainty, our sweet boy Levi has officially found his forever family with the Watson family! 💙🏡
This gentle, goofy, loving Boxer captured so many hearts with his easy-going personality, love for snuggles, car rides, stuffies, and his classic Boxer wiggles. Through it all, Levi never stopped being the loyal, affectionate boy we knew he was. 🥰
Levi came to CBR after his first owner sadly lost her home. We were determined to find Levi the stable, loving forever home he deserved — and we are so happy to say that day has finally come. 🙏✨
Even better, Levi now has a new sister named Fiona to share his forever home with! 🐶🐶💞 We know these two are going to have the best adventures together filled with playtime, cuddles, and lots of Boxer shenanigans.
The Watson family has opened their hearts and home to Levi, and we know he will be spoiled with love, companionship, and all the bedtime snuggles he could ever want. 🥰
Thank you to everyone who shared Levi’s story, supported him along the way, and helped us get him to this happy ending. Happy tails, sweet Levi — your forever starts now! 🐾💙

🎉🐾 HAPPY TAILS FOR RORY (now Eileen) 💗🏡
What started as an urgent plea to save a sweet girl from the shelter has turned into a story of love, compassion, and family 💕🐶
Rory has officially been adopted by the wonderful Hanel family 🏡💛
After leaving the shelter just in time and recovering from a severe upper respiratory infection 🤧, Rory received additional medical evaluations that led to a diagnosis of Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinoses (NCL), a chronic progressive neurological disease. While this condition is unfortunately not treatable, it is non-painful, and Rory will now spend her days surrounded by love, comfort, and security 💕🐾
Despite everything she has faced, Rory never lost her sweet spirit, soft kisses 💋, playful energy 🎾, or signature Boxer lean 🥰 And now, thanks to the Hanel family, she will never again wonder what it feels like to be safe and loved.
We are beyond grateful to this amazing family for opening their hearts and home to Rory and giving her the forever home every dog deserves 💙🙏
Thank you to everyone who shared, supported, fostered, donated, and helped Rory along her journey. Because of this community, Rory’s story became one of hope and love ✨🐶
