The excitement for the WATEA Fore the Road Golf Outing on July 31st just got even bigger!

Not only will the incredible Boogie & the Yo-Yoz be rocking the evening reception, but former Green Bay Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler will be joining us ALL DAY on the golf course! 🏈⛳

And thanks to an amazing sponsor, LeRoy will be sticking around until 7:00 PM to meet guests, take photos, sign autographs, and help make this an unforgettable event!!!!!

We’re looking for volunteers to help make our Annual Fore the Road Golf Outing a success on July 31st at Greenwood Hills Country Club!

This event supports local transportation workforce development programs and student initiatives—and we couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers.

We need help with things like:
• Course support / hole stations
• Raffle & silent auction assistance
• Event set-up and tear-down

Shifts are flexible and a great way to be part of a fun, high-energy day while supporting a great cause!

SHOUT OUT to WATEA for awarding one of our amazing families a vehicle!!

WATEA stands for Wisconsin Automotive & Truck Education Association. A THH mom is part of their Wheels to Work program.

Since 2010, Wheels to Work (W2W) has helped more than 300 low-income clients obtain or repair a vehicle so they can get or keep a job. Qualifying applicants receive affordable, 0%-interest loans with payment plans that fit within their budgets so they can fix their current vehicle at discounted rates or obtain a new-to-them vehicle from WATEA’s donated vehicle inventory.

Community organizations partner with WATEA to ensure applicants are connected to key resources. In addition, regional businesses and educational partners offer discounted rates for vehicle parts and labor, keeping repairs affordable and maximizing the program’s impact.

We are so GRATEFUL for this service, and we praise God that one of our families was blessed by it! 💚

Today is an exciting day for Troy.
Today he moves into his new apartment!

A little backstory for those who don't know Troy.
He was in and out of jail from a young age and battled with addiction, which had been a struggle to quit on his own.

"The first good decision I made was to apply at Bridge Street Mission, my probation officer said it would be a good place to turn my life around... And my life has never been the same since."

He joined us here at the mission and worked hard until he graduated 9 months later. While in the program, he got started at a part-time job which has turned into full-time, got a vehicle through the Wheels-to-Work program and attends Highland Community Church every Sunday.

"I am living proof that if you put your faith in Christ all things will work out for the good. I am finally starting to see my own fruit."
