ACAP is not merely an assemblage of staff and members, but people coming together to work, learn, adapt, and serve the community. We endeavor to build up the larger community and in so doing, discover our valued place within it.

Last week a group of ACAP members attended the annual Self-Determination Conference at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. We learned strategies for utilizing the resources available to us and how to advocate for our specific needs. We had a wonderful time and would like to thank the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities for hosting the event.
