We could have chosen any poems.

We didn’t.

This concert program is built on the words of poets from our own community—writers connected through All-Writers—people who are living, creating, and telling stories right here, right now.

This isn’t just a performance—it’s a collaboration.
It’s local voices becoming music.
It’s our community, reflected back in creativity.

We’ve met these poets. Heard their stories. Asked questions.
And now, we carry their words into every note we sing.

Come hear what happens when a community creates together.

Our Fourth Poet Spotlight: Patty Schopp

Patty has published poems, essays, and editorials in various periodicals throughout her life. A native of Wisconsin, Patty traveled throughout the US and lived for several years in the rural Ozark Mountains. Her first novel, Promises in the Rough, was recently published by All Things That Matter Press.

Patty's Poem "Content" inspired the selection of "Abendlich schon rauscht der Wald" by F***y Hensel, as well as "Winter Ride" and "The Peace of Wild Things" both by Joan Szymko in our upcoming concert program.

Join us at St. John's Lutheran Church in Brookfield (20275 Davidson Rd.) on May 17, at 3:00 PM, to share in this musical celebration of local poet artistry!
