HANDS ON HISTORY: ☀️🐄 Did you know it’s the first day of summer AND still National Dairy Month?

Wisconsin is America’s Dairyland for a reason—this state produces more cheese than any other state in the country. If you want to learn more, come and visit our Waukesha Agriculture Legacies exhibit and take a free craft kit before the month ends 🎨

🎸We had an incredible time at the Guitar Town Music Festival this year! 🎸

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and checked out The Log—it was a hit all day long. We loved meeting so many people who discovered the Museum (and our Les Paul exhibit!) for the very first time. Sharing Waukesha’s musical history with new audiences is one of the best parts of what we do. A huge thank‑you to the festival team for the warm hospitality, and an equally big shout‑out to our amazing WCHSM staff and volunteers who made the day run smoothly. We couldn’t do this work without you. We’re already looking forward to future collaborations and more opportunities to celebrate Waukesha County’s rich cultural heritage. 💛

SPRINGS EXHIBIT

Did you ever wonder what Waukesha was like during the Springs era? Come visit the Waukesha County Historical Society Museum’s newest exhibit to experience it firsthand. Check into your hotel, browse for remedies for your aches and pains made with Waukesha water or prescribed at one of Waukesha’s many health clinics, picnic in one of the parks surrounding your favorite spring and then, regretfully, catch a train home.
