Black Hawk County is now accepting referrals for Thrive Iowa!

Our team works one-on-one with participants to connect them to existing community services that help them move from crisis to stability. We work to empower families for long-term success and strengthen our community.

How to Make a Referral:
Anyone can make a referral!

• Visit HopeHub at www.hopehub.io and click “Submit a Referral”. A Thrive Family Navigator will connect with you.
• Or call us directly at (319) 292-2202.

We are grateful for the continued support from our Black Hawk County partners and look forward to serving more community members together.

Let’s help families in our county Thrive!

Join us for Picnic in the Park this summer! ☀️🌳

Every Tuesday in June and July, we’ll be gathering at Washington Park from 12–1 PM for a laid-back time of conversation, connection, and community building.

Bring your own lunch, grab a chair or blanket, and enjoy a relaxed hour in the park. Whether you stay the whole time or just stop by for a quick visit, we’d love to see you there!

Grateful for nonprofits who help to make our community a thriving place for all people.

Government can’t do it all—and that’s where nonprofits step up. Across the Cedar Valley, Nonprofits like North Star Community Services fill the critical gaps in services that government alone can’t cover, ensuring that those with disabilities are given opportunities and connected to our community. Nonprofits are neighbors helping neighbors—making sure no one falls through the cracks. NonprofitsGetItDone.org

So grateful for nonprofits who support newcomers in our community!
