As we continue to experience disruptions to care delivery due to ongoing policy changes at the state and federal levels, the HealthHIV State of HIV Care™ Eighth Annual National Survey offers HIV care providers the opportunity to share perspectives on the state of HIV care, prevention, and treatment today, including experiences, successes, and challenges.

The survey has been expanded to include the voices of people with HIV, as well as former, prospective, and current users of pre-exposure prophylaxis ( ).

Our team had the opportunity to attend the 2025 DC Harm Reduction Conference hosted by DC Engage!

While we don't directly provide harm reduction services, we’re proud to support harm reduction efforts by increasing access to testing in trusted spaces.

One of the most powerful sessions was the plenary on trauma-informed care, which highlighted how systems and services—when not rooted in empathy—can unintentionally re-trigger trauma. It was a reminder that how we show up is just as important as what we bring.

We left feeling more informed, more connected, and more committed to advancing health equity alongside our harm reduction partners.
