DC Nonprofit Workers Deserve Fair Pay

That’s about to change with support for the introduction of the Nonprofit Services Preservation Amendment Act of 2025 which:

-Raises the minimum indirect cost rate from 10% to 15% (the current Federal minimum)
-Supports that indirect cost funding is not a substitute for program funding and instead a supplement to program implementation
-Improves contract transparency and agency training
-Creates a relief grant program for nonprofits facing funding gaps

Hear writers from DMV region share their powerful stories of reflection, redemption, and hope. This special event brings together Voices Unbarred with the Maryland Second Look Coalition, Family Support Network, and the Second Look Project.
