A powerful sorceress. A warrior torn between love and duty.

Armida has captured Rinaldo’s heart, drawing him away from the battle he was sent to fight. But when his fellow soldiers arrive to bring him back, their love faces a choice that even her powers cannot control.

Haydn’s Armida brings this conflict to life through passionate music and high-stakes drama.

Join Washington Concert Opera for an evening featuring Lauren Snouffer and Fran Daniel Laucerica, alongside Shannon Crowley, Andrew Wilkowske, Jonathan Pierce Rhodes, and Jason Gonzalez. Antony Walker conducts.
