On Saturday, LFFP finished our Peace Camp project to make 1,000 paper cranes and other origami crafts to honor our wish for peace! 🎨💜 Thank you to Ms. Naoko, Ms. Yoshimi, new instructors from Japan and Iran that we met this weekend, and everyone who helped us reach our goal.

We will be sending cranes with delegations around the world to spread peace, joy, and hope to those suffering from violence, including Palestine.

"Catholic peacemaking begins with how we treat one another each day."

Little Friends for Peace mourns and will never forget the thousands of people killed on this day 25 years ago. In the same way, we also mourn and will never forget the millions of people killed as a result of wars and federal agencies, including ICE, created in direct direct response to the 9/11 attacks. The belief in the unalienable dignity of every person and the witness of all those included in this article sustain us in the work of peace building each day. We believe a world full of peace is possible, and that world starts with peace rather than vengeance in our own heart.
