Here’s how many visits took place at Fauquier Free Clinic in September:
🩺 Medical: 354
🦷 Dental: 409
💚 Mental Health: 225
These visits happen in different rooms, with different care teams, but they all begin the same way: a neighbor walks through our doors, and we’re here to help.

🍂 Taking allergy medicine this fall? Keep an eye on your oral health, too.
Some allergy medicines can cause dry mouth. Saliva helps protect your teeth, so a dry mouth can raise your risk of cavities.
A few dental hygiene habits can help:
💧 Sip water throughout the day
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and clean between your teeth daily
🍬 Chew sugar-free gum to help stimulate saliva
🦷 Tell your dentist if dry mouth continues
Your daily brushing and flossing routine matters even more when your mouth feels dry.

💙 288 patients served. One incredible community. 🦷
Piedmont Smiles 2026 marked our fifth annual event and our biggest year yet!

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, dental professionals, students, and community partners from across Virginia, nearly 300 patients received free dental care at Liberty High School.

To everyone who volunteered, supported the event, or came out for care, thank you for making this day possible! We couldn't have done it without you. 💙

Piedmont Smiles Dental Day is tomorrow!
Want to get a head start? Pre-screening begins today at 3 PM at Liberty High School in Bealeton. It’s first-come, first-served. You can complete your health screening, X-rays, and dental triage today, so those steps are already done when you return for treatment tomorrow.
Dental Day is Saturday, October 17. Doors open at 7 AM, with free dental care for adults, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions. No appointment is needed. Care is first-come, first-served, so please arrive early and be prepared to wait.
