Welcome this year's summer PATH Foundation intern, Howard!

Howard Burnett is from Fauquier County, Virginia, where he grew up in Warrenton and graduated from Fauquier High School. His experiences in the community helped shape his interest in understanding people, supporting others, and finding ways to make a positive difference.

Howard is currently a student at Morehouse College, where he is pursuing a degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. His studies have given him a deeper understanding of social issues, public policy, and the importance of advocacy and community engagement.

As an intern with the Mental Health Association, Howard is excited to learn more about mental health awareness and the resources available to individuals and families. He hopes to gain hands-on experience while contributing to programs that promote well-being throughout the community.

In his free time, Howard enjoys listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Juneteenth reminds us of the power of preserving our community heritage. Seeing the next generation of leadership connect directly with the legacy of the Carver Center is exactly what this day is about. Thank you, Carver Food Enterprise Center, for having us!

Scaling walls, tackling ropes courses, and flying down the zipline! Watch as our summer interns take on Verdun Adventure Bound for a day of team-building. Huge thanks to the team at Verdun for hosting us!

We’re excited to see AJ put his knowledge to good use. Thank you for hosting him!

It is officially summer when our PATH Foundation intern arrives!
Please join us in welcoming AJ!
AJ is a rising junior at JMU studying Kinesiology and Physical Therapy. AJ wants to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist and open his own clinic one day.
We already see his passion for helping others and his willingness to take on any challenge. He is settling right in with the team, who are already asking if we can keep him forever!
If he isn't here at the clinic, you will find him at Powell Wellness Center, part of our Culpeper Wellness Foundation family, observing their medical fitness programs and learning all he can from their incredible team.
Thank you to PATH Foundation for continuing to offer this program every summer, and allowing us to be a host site!

We can’t wait to see what Jackson accomplishes this summer!

🌟 Please join us in welcoming our Summer Intern, Jackson Romero!

We are thrilled to have Jackson joining the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce this summer through the PATH Foundation!

Jackson is a graduate of Eastern View High School and is currently a sophomore at Virginia Tech. He also participated in the Career Partners E2 program, helping him build valuable skills and career experience along the way.

This summer, Jackson will be splitting his time between UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center and the Culpeper Chamber! While he’s with us, he’ll be working on outreach calls, social media content creation, database auditing, and so much more.

We’re excited to have his energy and talent on the team and hope many of you will get the chance to connect with him in the coming weeks—including at CulpeperFest! Be sure to stop by, say hello, and help us give him a warm welcome!

Welcome, Jackson! We’re so glad you’re here - it is going to be a GREAT summer!
