Hi fabulous community!
We are sad about the cancellation of our Scaryokie event on Halloween. As of Monday afternoon we only sold 5 tickets, and with the help of the venue owners, the decision was made to cancel it.
Our events are very well attended and the community support is tremendous, but this event falling on Halloween night, on a Saturday, wasn’t hitting the mark to make it successful.
We received a lot of feedback about supporters being stretched in many directions on Halloween and we completely understand.
The 5 ticket holders will receive a full refund.
We appreciate the outpouring of love and support, and we appreciate all the attendees that have made our past events successful.

Please keep an eye out for future events!
We are adjusting our November 14th event, stay tuned for more details.

The planning of the December event is moving forward, more details coming soon.

Today, when I was talking about the cancellation of this event, a friend told me:
“Well, you gotta have a little rain to keep making the rainbows” 🌈

We love our friends, our donors, our volunteers, our community, or families, and our chosen families….

Intersex Awareness Day is an internationally observed event held annually on October 26th to highlight human rights issues faced by intersex people. The day commemorates the first public demonstration by intersex individuals in North America, which took place in Boston in 1996. Its primary goal is to end the shame, secrecy, and non-consensual medical interventions often forced on intersex individuals, while promoting bodily autonomy and visibility for the community.
