☀️ Sixty degrees. Just a few clouds dotted the perfectly blue sky, and somewhere out on the Lake Course at the Olympic Club, the smell of the legendary Hot Dog Bill's drifted across the fairway.
That was the scene Monday as ESNorCal golfers took to one of the most prestigious courses in the country. The ping of club meeting ball echoed through the cypress trees. Laughter carried across the lush rolling hills. Hands clapped on shoulders, after good and bad shots alike. Because on a day like this, the score was almost beside the point.
Almost.
The team from our generous sponsor, Pivot Design, hoisted the trophy at the end of the day after averaging a birdie per hole and carding a remarkable 54.
Before that, the putting green, chaos reigned in the best possible way, as our own Kaleidoscope participants flashed their putter blades together in an attempt to drain a simultaneous putt. It was Joe, however, who sunk it first. Our clients were the epicenter of the day, and watching them soak up every single moment, reminded us why we do events like this in the first place. 💙🏌️
For every golfer who showed up, every sponsor who made it possible, every volunteer who kept it all moving and every Kaleidoscope client who reminded us exactly what we're swinging for, THANK YOU.
