Features renowned Rose Garden, plus Children's Garden, Waterfall Garden, Community Garden, Gazebo and more. Offers Natural Science Classroom program with diverse educational curriculum for elementary grade students, as well as a Nature Explorers program for preschoolers.

☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day from The Gardens! 🍀

Our homeschool group had a fun and creative morning celebrating in the garden with an Egg Drop Challenge! 🥚

The kids worked together designing and building ways to protect their eggs before the big drop — testing their ideas, cheering each other on, and learning through a little trial and error.

It was amazing to see their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in action. And of course… a few eggs didn’t quite survive the landing! 😄

We love days like this when the gardens become a place for learning, laughter, and discovery. 💚

Last week we had the joy of celebrating the incredible volunteers who help make The Gardens at Heather Farm thrive every single day.

Our volunteers are the heart of this place. From garden maintenance and caring for our beautiful grounds, to plant propagation that keeps our gardens growing, to helping make our hosted events like Teddy Bear Tea and other community programs possible, your dedication truly makes a difference.

Because of you, visitors experience a welcoming and vibrant garden, couples fall in love with our venue, and our nonprofit mission continues to flourish.
We simply could not do this without your time, passion, and love for The Gardens. 💚

A Message from Joan Lucchese — Exciting New Chapter for The Gardens

After 12 years of joy, growth, and so many beautiful moments among the flowers, I'm sharing some personal news: I'll be retiring as Executive Director of The Gardens at Heather Farm on April 1st. 🌿

Words can't fully capture what this place means to me. The Gardens has been my heart's work — and knowing it will continue to flourish under the leadership of our incredible Garden Manager, Jere Peck, makes this transition one I can embrace with gratitude rather than grief.

To every donor, member, volunteer, student, and friend who has walked these 6.5 acres alongside me — thank you. Truly.
You are the reason The Gardens thrives.
