The First Sunday Drive concept originated within the San Francisco Bay Area/Mercedes-Benz Club in January of 2006. What we do: Generally, one of the members of the SF Bay Area Mercedes-Benz Club will lead participants on a route they think is interesting or scenic, and culminates in an area that offers accommodating options for lunch and/or sightseeing. There is no cost and all makes and models are invited!

🚗 Introducing Members’ Mercedes — A New Monthly Feature!

We are excited to announce the launch of “Members’ Mercedes,” a brand-new spotlight in the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter newsletter celebrating the incredible cars within our community.

Each month, one member’s Mercedes will be professionally photographed and featured alongside a short story highlighting the vehicle’s history and personality. Whether you drive a timeless classic, a modern AMG, a stunning convertible, or anything in between — we would love to showcase your pride and joy.

📸 What to Expect:
• A complimentary professional photoshoot led by renowned automotive photographer John Gayler
• Daytime exterior and interior images plus a dramatic light-painted signature shot
• A relaxed interview sharing the story behind your vehicle
• A dedicated article and image gallery in the monthly newsletter
• A free gallery of images perfect for social media or keepsakes

Sessions typically last 2–3 hours, with flexible locations throughout the SF Bay Area — from scenic backdrops to your own driveway or garage. Your car simply needs to be freshly cleaned and camera-ready.

✨ This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared passion for Mercedes-Benz and highlight the remarkable variety within our chapter.
