Rangers take to the trails... Throughout the next two months, visitors may notice increased ranger presence on the park’s trail system as they conduct focused trail patrols aimed at promoting safe and responsible trail use. These patrols are intended to help protect park resources and ensure that all users can enjoy the trails as intended.

Areas of focus for trail patrols may include unauthorized trail use, traveling off established trails, resource damage, wildlife harassment, littering, and any other activities that negatively impact visitor safety and park resources.

Do you know the rules of the trail? We encourage all visitors to familiarize themselves with park rules and to help preserve this special place by staying on designated trails, following trail-use restrictions, respecting wildlife, packing out litter, and recreating responsibly.

Mount Diablo State Park is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors while protecting the park’s natural and cultural resources.

Whether you’re hiking, biking, horseback riding, or simply enjoying Mount Diablo’s scenic beauty, your cooperation helps ensure the trail system and park resources remain protected for future generations.

Good Morning - The double day shows, have been very popular.

A couple of reminders for the June 20th show - to park your rigs - closer together - be friendly with your rig neighbors. Pay attention to what side your neighbors tie their horses up to - you can always park closer to a another rig, if they are tying up on only one side. If you can tie up on one side please do so, it helps being able to fit in more rigs.

Keep the road to the rear of the arena's open, as this is used by park maintenance and we may use this to park smaller rigs, if the parking lot is extremely full.

Cars (no rigs) park along street, leaving gravel area open for food truck and handicap parking only. Overflow parking can be done at the dog park

Keep in mind rigs parking to the left/right of parking lot - keep center of parking lot as much as you can - as we also use the middle for additional rigs, of the outling areas around the lot fill up with rigs.

Enter parking lot on second entrance, where the big eucalyptus tree was and 7 Hills school sign is located- the city has cut down this tree and put the very large tree trucks between the 2 oak trees.

We have worked with Crescent Moon Center at ECWC and seen their results.🌞🎨🐴
