We were honored to be recognized as a nonprofit partner for the 2026 Lesher Newsmakers Series! 💙💚

Last week, our team was delighted to share the space (get it? 😉🚀) with Colonel Eileen Collins and learn about her groundbreaking NASA career as the first woman to pilot a U.S. Space Shuttle and the first woman to command one. 🪐

The annual speaker series is presented by the Lesher Foundation with support from partners including KTVU FOX 2 News. As part of this partnership, KTVU spotlighted Diablo Region through its KTVU Gives Back news segment, helping introduce more people to our mission and the work we do to support local seniors. 💙💚

We’re grateful to the Lesher Foundation, KTVU FOX 2, the Lesher family, and our community for helping shine a light on the importance of supporting older adults across Contra Costa County.
