Dawson’s road to recovery has turned out to be even longer than we initially knew. In addition to healing from painful skin issues, a calcified ear and parasites, he had a tumor removal surgery on his neck. We’re now waiting for the biopsy results. 🥺🐾

Through all of this, Dawson remains the sweetest, most loving boy. Despite everything he’s endured, he continues to trust, love and soak up every bit of kindness that comes his way. He deserves every chance we can give him to heal and have the happy, healthy life ahead of him that he’s waited so long for.

💙 SAFE! Rambo, now Dawson, is officially a NorSled dog.

We picked up this sweet boy from Stanislaus Animal Services Agency when his stray hold was up. Now his healing can begin. ❤️‍🩹

Dawson has a long road ahead as he recovers from an embedded collar, skin issues and more. He’ll see our vet first thing Monday morning to determine exactly what he needs.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who advocated, shared and pledged to help save him. You helped get Dawson out. 🥹
