In this video, Dr. Tauqeer Khan spoke about his experience working at the A G Khan Memorial Hospital in Barazai, Pakistan over the past 5 years. This hospital serves over 1,000 patients monthly, providing free medical treatment and at-cost medication to patients, with overnight emergency services as well. Qasim Khan Tareen, Administrator of AGKF's programs, also introduced the new A G Khan Technology Center in Barazai, Pakistan, that just opened on March 23rd, 2026! He explained that the free courses will commence soon, starting with a general computer course and then offering more advanced, specific courses to students. Students will also be taught spoken English as well as offered mentorship opportunities to support their linkage to professional opportunities locally and abroad.
Enrollment is currently limited to students in 10th grade and above, with a plan to open additional classes during Summer 2026 to students in 8th grade and above. Classes are 2 hours long and limited to 20 students to ensure adequate attention is provided to students to support their learning and skills development.
