The web development course started at A G Khan Technology Center in Barazai, Pakistan. This free, one-month long summer course is held twice daily, in mornings and evenings, and is open to male students in grades 8th to 12th. The course is taught by Ibn Muhammad Yar (Usman). So far, 60 students have enrolled. Additional courses are also available. Visit the Barazai Welfare Society office to register, if interested.

A G Khan Technology Center is now hosting a free one-month summer technology course for male students in grades 8th to 12th. Orientation is on June 1st, at 10AM. Students can register at Barazai Welfare Society's office. The course will include A.I., graphic design, video editing, web development, and basic computer skills.

A. G. Khan Foundation (AGKF) and Barazai Welfare Society (BWS) cohosted a career counseling seminar for youth on May 16, 2026 at the A. G. Khan Memorial Hospital in Barazai, Pakistan. There were 10 speakers including university professors and teachers from local colleges, covering career tracks such as social science, finance and administration, medical/nursing/pharmacy/lab/dentistry, and information technology. About 40 students attended from Barazai and surrounding villages. Thank you to all who participated in this endeavor.

On March 23rd, 2026, the A G Khan Foundation (AGKF) and Barazai Welfare Society (BWS) hosted the inauguration of the long awaited A G Khan Technology Center in Barazai, Pakistan. This Center was built recently to support technological literacy and professional mentorship opportunities for youth.

In this video, Dr. Tauqeer Khan spoke about his experience working at the A G Khan Memorial Hospital in Barazai, Pakistan over the past 5 years. This hospital serves over 1,000 patients monthly, providing free medical treatment and at-cost medication to patients, with overnight emergency services as well. Qasim Khan Tareen, Administrator of AGKF's programs, also introduced the new A G Khan Technology Center in Barazai, Pakistan, that just opened on March 23rd, 2026! He explained that the free courses will commence soon, starting with a general computer course and then offering more advanced, specific courses to students. Students will also be taught spoken English as well as offered mentorship opportunities to support their linkage to professional opportunities locally and abroad.

Enrollment is currently limited to students in 10th grade and above, with a plan to open additional classes during Summer 2026 to students in 8th grade and above. Classes are 2 hours long and limited to 20 students to ensure adequate attention is provided to students to support their learning and skills development.
